"why me" Trauma awareness parenting workshop 

 

"Why Me" is a 2-hour workshop for one on one, and or group, maximum 8 participants.

 

Designed to simplify the concept of trauma, providing parents | Carers with a better understanding of the underlying reasons for their inner wounds with the possible impacts can have on their children.

 

The focus of this workshop, to minimise the cycle of intergenerational trauma by empowering parents with the necessary tools to role-play with their own children, enabling the next generation to have upgraded toolkits.

Individuals who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, single parents |couples |carers

"Why Me"  workshop offers participants the following benefits:

Duration

Estimated time frame for workshop is approximately two hours, subject to the number of participants in attendance. 

 

Prior to attending workshop

Participants will be required to complete an intake form and signed consent.

Counselling support after

​

Participants who attended this workshop and require support to address any challenges that arose during the workshop may benefit from individual counseling sessions. These sessions offer a safe space for unpacking concerns, with a maximum of three sessions available. The fee for each 50min counseling session, discounted $125. (only for participants whom attend this workshop).
